Do I need HDB approval to install my aircon?

When installing your air conditioner using a new 15-amp power point or a new 20-amp isolator, you will need to apply for an electrical permit before carrying out your aircon installation. You are required to submit an installation report to the HDB branch managing your flat after completing your aircon installation. Submission must be done within 14 days to ensure the validity of the transaction.
